Grading: Homework and Laboratories 15%, Attendance 10%, Midterm 30%, Final 30%, and Class Project 15%. Late assignments are marked down 10% per week.

Homeworks: Homework assignments are due the first class after the material is covered in class. HW#1-Introduction 10%, HW#2-Windows95/98/NT 10%, HW#3-MS Word 20%, HW#4-HTML 10%, HW#5-Excel #1 5%, HW#6-Excel #2 25%, HW#7-PowerPoint 20%.

Text: Obtain the class notes from the bookstore. Additional books are not required but might be helpful. Reasonably priced computer books for Windows 2000/ME/XP, MS Office and HTML programming are available at most discount book stores. Microsoft Office includes MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Netscape has a very good HTML editor with the browser.
