Windows Programs

WordPad and Paint
23. Write a document using all the major demonstrable features of WordPad (NOT MSWord) and Paint. DO NOT USE MS WORD FOR THIS EXERCISE. Use WordPad as the basis and import Paint pictures into it. Your document must also contained several graphic images: a clip art image from any source, an image that you created using MS Paint, and a captured window from Solitaire (or another windows program).

You should make a conscious effort to use every menu and submenu item such as fonts and tabs in WordPad and the copying and skewing menus in MSPaint. The actual document should be at least 6 pages long but does not have to make sense. Print out the document and staple it to this handout. Do not turn in a diskette for this assignment.

You must clearly identify what you are doing, for example:
Centered Text and Bolded
Right Justified Text and Italicized
Large Text in Script 
 
 
Here is a paragraph that is indented and has different margins than the rest of the document. The margins here are 1.5" margins and the document has 1" margins.
