| Create your own web site using all of the major
demonstable features of the HTML lecture. You can make your web pages all
about yourself or whatever topic that you wish. Your score for this assignment
will be directly porportional to the quality of the work and completing
the tasks listed below: |

Create at least 4 web pages for this assignment.
One page must be created by hand (i.e. using notepad).
The remaining pages can be prepared in an HTML editor (i.e. Netscape Composer,
etc.)
The first page should be named index.html and have links to the other pages.
Include additional links to other internet web sites and one email link
to your email address.
Use text links and links using graphic images.
Each web page that you create should have a graphic on it. At lease
one of the graphic images should be a link to another location.
Each page shall include the basic HTML format: <HTML> <BODY> etc.
Each page shall include a title and background color.
Illustrait all of the different formatting for text: bold, italics, underline,
colors, fonts.
Include text positioning: breaks, horizontal lines, paragraphs, and justification
(left, center and right).

| Bring to class a diskette with all html files and any
graphics that you used in them. Also, you will need to turn in two
printouts of each page: one from notepad (showing your HTML source code)
and the second from the browser (showing your finished page). |
| Try to get an account started with Yahoo or any other
web site provider (i.e. AOL, etc.). Their internet site is at:
http://www.yahoo.com/.
Remember that they will require a valid email address. Remember to
bring your account name and password to class to be able to work on it
in class. |
